Lancaster Park is a historic Orlando neighborhood that was established in 1925. Before the neighborhood development began in the same year, the two charming homes in this postcard already existed on the prospective property. One was originally erected in 1901 as a farmhouse, and the other was constructed from a Sears home kit in 1910. These two properties, remaining, exemplify the varieties of homes that continue to characterize the community into the modern day. The postcard pictured was printed by Genuine Curteich-Chicago, a company renowned for advertising city features in the 20th century.
